Conbraco APPW512 Apollo
Apollo APPW512 PEX-B Pipe Tubing, 1/2 in, White, 5 ft L
Our Price: $3.79

Apollo PEX? tubing is cross-linked, high density polyethylene. The silane method, also called the "moisture cure" method, results in PEX-B, where the cross-linking is performed in a secondary post-extrusion process, producing cross-links between a cross-linking agent. The process is accelerated with heat and moisture. The cross-linked bonds are formed through silanol condensation between two grafted vinyltrimethoxysilane (VTMS) units, connecting the polyethylene chains with C-C-Si-O-SiC-C bridges. PEX tubing is for use in hot and cold potable water distribution systems. PEX tubing can also be used in "continuously recirculating" plumbing systems up to 140 deg F while maintaining chlorine resistance. The tubing may be installed in concrete, gypsum based lightweight concrete, sand, asphalt, in or under wood flooring or behind wallboard or plaster. more info

SharkBite U860B10 Pipe, 10 ft L, PEX-B, Polyethylene, Blue
Our Price: $3.99

SharkBite? PEX pipe is a cross-linked polyethylene pipe for use in a wide range of residential and commercial plumbing applications. Manufactured without an oxygen barrier for potable water systems and with an oxygen barrier for radiant floor and hydronic heating applications. A repeating SharkBite? imprint pattern provides a visual aid to determine if the pipe has been inserted all the way into the SharkBite? push-to-connect fitting. This feature only works if the pipe is cut between the SharkBite? imprint pattern. more info
